There are really not many fruit names beginning with V. Many of the results on this list are actually the scientific names for the fruits. In total, we found 19 fruits that have V starting in their names. Here are the fruits that begin with V.
Vaccinium corymbosum is commonly known as Blueberry. Its other names include blue huckleberry, the northern highbush blueberry, tall huckleberry, high blueberry, swamp huckleberry, and swamp blueberry. Virginia creeper has a scientific name of Parthenocissus quinquefolia. This fruit is inedible. Virginia creeper belongs to the Vitaceae family and can be found in North and Central Americas.
Vitis labrusca is commonly known as Fox grape. This belongs to the Vitaceae family too and can be found in eastern part of North America.
Vitis vinifera is commonly known as the common grape vine. Beside consuming the grape berries raw, the berries are also used to make currants, sultanas and raisins.
